Dictionary
Below we have collected the definitions that you can see in our tips, as well as at most bookmakers
Outcome
1 W1 Win 1 H1(-0.5) – home team (a team written first) or player to win.
2 W2 Win 2 H2(-0.5) – away team (a team written second) or player to win.
1Х Win 1 or Draw H1(+0.5) – home team to win or draw.
Х2 Win 2 or Draw H2(+0.5) – away team to win or draw.
12 No draw – the bet plays only if there is no draw in the game.
11-2 21-2 – sometimes you can see this designations. It means win1(market 1-2) and win2(market 1-2) i.e. just Win 1 and Win 2. It could be quite confusing, we understand it. However, we decided to stop using autocorrections as they caused constant mistakes and misunderstanding. Now, we display all bets precisely how they’re recorded in bookmaker lines.
Handicap
AH1(0) H1(0) 1/DNB – home team to win by zero handicap. The bet plays when the first team wins. In case of a draw, the bet is void.
AH2(0) H2(0) 2/DNB – the same as above but for the second (away) team.
AH1(-1) H1(-1) 1(-1) – home team to win by Asian handicap minus one. The bet plays when the first team wins by 2 or more points (goals). In case of victory by exactly 1 point, the bet is void. It’s similar for other integer values from 2 onwards. For example, the bet H1(-12) in the basketball game Boston – Atlanta plays when Boston wins by a difference of 13 or more points and is void if Boston wins by a difference of exactly 12 points.
AH2(-1) H2(-1) 2(-1) – the same as above but for the second (away) team.
AH1(-1.5) H1(-1.5) 1(-1.5) – home team to win by Asian handicap minus one and half. The bet plays when the first team wins by 2 or more points (goals). It’s similar for other values from (-2.5) going backwards in increments of one. For example, the bet H1(-12.5) in the basketball game Boston – Atlanta plays when Boston wins by a difference of 13 or more points.
AH1(-1.25) H1(-1.25) – home team to win by Asian handicap minus one and a quarter. The bets with quarters are calculated by dividing the amount of the bet into two halves. 0.25 is added to the first half. 0.25 is detracted from the second half. Thus, H1(-1.25) is the same as sum of two bets: H1(-1) and H1(-1.5), which are defined above. Likewise, you can calculate the bets with quarters for any other numbers. For example, the bet H1(-0.25) is the sum of the bets H1(0) and H1(-0.5) for each of those half of the stake is allocated.
AH1(+1) H1(+1) 1(+1) – home team to win by Asian handicap plus one. The bet plays when the fist team wins or play for a draw. In case of defeat by exactly 1 point, the bet is void. It’s similar for other integer values from 2 onwards. For example, the bet H1(+12) in the basketball game Boston – Atlanta plays when Boston wins or loses by no more than 11 points. If it defeats exactly 12 points, the bet is void.
AH1(+1.5) H1(+1.5) 1(+1.5) – home team to win by Asian handicap plus one and half. The bet plays when the fist team wins, play for a draw or lose by no more that 1 point. It’s similar for other values. For example, the bet H1(+12.5) in the basketball game Boston – Atlanta plays when Boston wins or loses by no more than 12 points.
AH1(+1.25) H1(+1.25) – home team to win by Asian handicap plus one and a quarter. The bets with quarters are calculated by dividing amount of the bet on two half. 0.25 is added to the first half. 0.25 is distracted from the second half. Thus, H1(+1.25) is the same as sum of two bets: H1(+1) and H1(+1.5), which are defined above. Likewise, you can calculate the bets with quarters for any other numbers. For example, the bet H1(+0.25) is the sum of the bets H1(0) and H1(+0.5) for each of those half of the stake is allocated.
AH2(+1) H2(+1) 2(+1) H1(+1.5) 1(+1.5) H1(+1.25) – the same as above but for the second (away) team.
It’s important not confuse Asian and European handicaps. If bookmaker uses European handicap, integer number don’t imply bet return. European handicap H1(-1) is the same as H1(-1.5) Asian handicap. It needs to be clarified in bookmaker rules when you start playing on the new website. On Bethuub we always use Asian handicap.
Total
O(2) Over 2 Total ≥2 – total over two. The bet plays when more than 2 points (goals) are scored in the game. If there are exactly 2 points, the bet is void. It’s similar for other values. For example, the bet O(195) in the basketball game plays when more than 195 points are scored. When it’s exactly 195 points, the bet is void.
O(2.5) Over 2.5 – total over two and half. The bet plays when more than 2 points (goals) are scored in the game. It’s similar for other values. For example, the bet O(195.5) in the basketball game plays when 196 or more points are scored.
O(2.25) Over(2.25) – total over two and a quarter means the half of bet amount goes to the bet O(2), another half goes to the bet O(2.5). It’s the same for other values. It needs to divide the stake into two equal parts, add 0.25 to the first part and distract 0.25 from the second. For example, the bet O(2.75) means the half goes to O(2.5), the half goes to O(3).
U(2) Under 2 Under ≥2 – total under two. The bet plays when less than 2 points (goals) are scored in the game. If there are exactly 2 points, the bet is void. It’s similar for other values. For example, the bet U(195) in the basketball game plays when less than 195 points are scored. When it’s exactly 195 points, the bet is void.
U(2.5) Under 2.5 – total under two and half. The bet plays when 2 or less points (goals) are scored in the game. It’s similar for other values. For example, the bet U(195.5) in the basketball game plays when 195 or less points are scored.
U(2.25) Under(2.25) – total under two and a quarter means the half of bet amount goes to the bet U(2), another half goes to the bet U(2.5). It’s the same for other values. It needs to divide the stake into two equal parts, add 0.25 to the first part and distract 0.25 from the second. For example, the bet U(2.75) means the half goes to U(2.5), the half goes to U(3).
