Arkansas is ready to make gambling legal

Arkansas has become another US state where legal gambling will soon appear.

On November 6, 2018, Arkansas authorities approved the bill.

Soon there will be four casinos in the state while Oaklawn Racing and Gaming and Southland Gaming and Racing institutions, which previously offered slot machines, will expand the service with casino games and sports betting.

The cost for a local license is $ 250 thousand for each casino.

With the legalization of gambling, the state can actively develop tourism and also experience an additional flow of funds from casinos and betting operators taxation.

According to preliminary calculations, with a minimum income of $ 150 thousand, each organization operating in gambling in Arkansas will have to pay 13% tax. In the future, the tax rate may increase to 20%.
