Betclic has recieved the Polish betting license

The French bookmaker office Betclic Everest now has the right to serve online betting market in Poland. The company’s work permit was issued by the Ministry of Finance of the country.

The bookmaker has received a license to provide betting in the BEM Operations Ltd domain. However, Betclic hasn’t yet confirmed an entry into the market.

After the new CEO’s arrival, the Betclic office set a course on the development of its sports betting. At the same time, Betclic is trying to go beyond the borders of the French domestic market.

In 2016, the operator demonstrated progress by starting to work in the regulated market of Portugal, but the Polish market works differently. This is more unpredictable and difficult to manage for the new companies.

If Betclic decides to work in the local market, the bookmaker will have to pay 12% of its turnover tax. This rule applies to all operators operating in Poland.In addition, the country’s Ministry of Finance requires all of the licensed online companies to maintain an active operational presence within the country.
