Gerard Pique is fined €48k for driving without a license

According to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona’s defender Gerard Piqué was detained for driving without having a license.

Spaniard received a fine of 48 thousand euros for this violation.

There is an interesting system associated with drivers’ license in Spain: 12 points are attached to each personal drivers’ license. An amount of fine differs for various violations. Piquet didn’t have any points so he was simply deprived of the right to drive a car.
