Stevenson is into an artificial coma after a fight with Gvozdik

Ex-WBC light heavyweight champion Adonis Stevenson has a suspicion of cerebral haemorrhage after a fight with Ukrainian boxer Alexander Gvozdik. He was introduced into an artificial coma.
According to Canadian promoter Ivon Michel, the decision to introduce Stevenson into an artificial coma was made for preventive purposes. Monday and Tuesday will be decisive for the boxer.

“This is a matter of chance. This is something that couldn’t be calculated, ”said Michel.

It must be recalled that Alexander Gvozdik knocked out Stevenson in the 11th round and became the world light heavyweight champion on December, 1.
